Australian Curriculum–Aligned Primary Science Resources
Welcome — I’m Mr. Greenly, the creator of Critter Quest Education.
I design Australian Curriculum–aligned science videos and teaching resources for Foundation to Year 6 classrooms, with a focus on making science clear, engaging, and easy for teachers to use without extra prep time.
Critter Quest Education is a growing library of:
- short, curriculum-linked science explainer videos
- classroom-ready learning resources (expanding)
- teacher-focused science content aligned to ACARA v9.0
Everything is built with one goal in mind:
to make primary science easier to teach and more exciting to learn.
Start here: Critter Quest Education is designed to support Foundation–Year 6 science teaching across the Australian Curriculum.
👨‍🔬 Who I am
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biodiversity & Conservation and I’ve undertaken post-graduate studies in Education.
Alongside my studies, I’ve spent the past several years developing science learning content that bridges the gap between scientific understanding and classroom delivery — especially for busy teachers who need reliable, ready-to-use materials.
My background sits at the intersection of:
- environmental science
- science communication
- education and curriculum design
- storytelling for young learners
🌱 Why Critter Quest Education exists
Primary teachers are expected to teach science in meaningful, engaging ways — often with limited time and resources.
While there is plenty of science content online, much of it:
- isn’t aligned to the Australian Curriculum
- is too long or too complex for classroom use
- isn’t structured for teaching outcomes
Critter Quest Education was created to solve that problem.
Each video is designed to be:
- Curriculum-aligned (F–6, ACARA v9.0)
- short, clear, and classroom-ready
- safe and appropriate for young learners
- supportive of teacher planning, not a replacement for it
🎥 What you’ll find here
Critter Quest Education is structured to support both teaching and learning.
You’ll find:
✨ Science explainer videos aligned to Australian Curriculum strands
📚 Teaching resources (lesson supports and classroom materials — expanding)
🧠Science education articles for teachers and homeschoolers
đź“– Updates on science storytelling projects and upcoming educational content
All resources are designed to be practical, usable, and easy to integrate into lessons.
🌏 My approach
I believe science education works best when it is:
- grounded in real scientific understanding
- connected to curiosity and storytelling
- accessible to all learners
- practical for teachers in real classrooms
My goal is not to overwhelm with information, but to simplify complex ideas so students can actually understand them — and enjoy the process of learning.
